New at Newton Medical Center is the
Toshiba Vantage MRI
with the capability to do breast MRI scanning.
Offered as a more intensive follow up to mammography screening, MRI imaging of the breast allows for a concentrated way of examining breast tissue with advanced cancer detection technology. This technology is capable of seeing regions of abnormality, not seen by traditional X-rays, ultrasounds or mammography. Newton Medical Center continues to be on the forefront in providing digital mammography and state-of-the-art breast cancer detection technology.
